What is Birdies for Charity?

Birdies for Charity provides nonprofits the opportunity to leverage the excitement of the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches to raise funds for their cause. Charitable organizations invite their supporters to participate by making a minimum $20 donation and submitting a guess for the number of birdies that will be made during the competitive rounds of the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches (February 25 –February 28, 2027). An individual who guesses the exact number of birdies (or closest to without going over) will have the chance to win a grand prize of $10,000. The winner may keep the prize or donate it to the participating charity of their choice.

Participating charities will receive 100% of every donation collected along with a portion of funds from a $100,000 bonus pool, provided by the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches.

Nonprofit Information

Registration for this year’s program is now open for nonprofits to apply. Please note that donor participation will begin on November 11. Organizations that submit an application can expect to receive notification of their approval on November 11, when the campaign officially launches.

Eligible nonprofits in South Florida can apply to participate by completing the application below. Organizations must be a verified 501(c)(3) and upload their IRS Determination Letter, and updated 990, as well as proof of authorization to conduct charitable solicitation within the State of Florida, or documentation demonstrating exemption from this requirement.
